Applications and Enrollments
Step 1: Application
New students are required to submit an online application through FACTS in the Spring for the following school year. Applications open on March 1 and continue through May 25. Application fees are charged but are waived for a period of time at the beginning of the application window. Returning students do not need to submit an application.
- For a new Academy family (one with no students enrolled in the Academy for the last two years), the first step is to create an Application Account in FACTS. This account will provide a secure login in which to create and submit a student application. After the student information is imported into FACTS, you will have a FACTS Family Portal login.
- For an Academy family (one with current or recent students enrolled in the Academy), the first step is to login to your FACTS Family Portal where you can submit applications for new Academy students.
Please note the following:
- Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by September 1 of the year of enrollment. Kindergarten is recommended but not required; a student may skip kindergarten and go directly into 1st grade.
- Placement exams are required for all new 2nd - 12th grade students to ascertain if the student is academically prepared for the grade they wish to enroll into. These tests are given in the late Spring and Summer before the new school year begins. Kindergarten and 1st grade students do not take placement exams.
- All academic, standardized test, and behavioral records are required for new 2nd - 12th grade students including any active IEPs. These records will be reviewed along with placement test results in considering the student's application.
- All students, whether Catholic or not, are expected to submit to the full curriculum as offered: They must attend all religion classes and participate in all activities, especially the weekly student Mass. They must be of the Christian faith and be baptized.
Step 2: Enrollment
For a new student, after your application has been accepted and reviewed and placement testing is completed if necessary, you will be contacted and usually invited to move to the next step, which is enrollment. This enrollment step is distinct from the application step above and will be accomplished through your FACTS Family Portal login. Enrollment is into a specific grade level, so if we are waiting on test results and review, the enrollment process will be slightly delayed.
For a returning student, if there are no academic or behavior impediments, you will be invited to complete your returning student enrollment into the next grade through the FACTS Family Portal.
Similar to applications, enrollments will be accepted during a window of time, usually from March 20 through June 15. Initially, enrollment fees will be waived but will apply after a certain date.
