Christ the King Festival

Join us for the Christ the King Festival in the Academy Quadrangle!      
The festival opens following the procession at approximately 1:30pm.
In your charity please remember to volunteer a small portion of your time to help the festival. To help in any way, email [email protected] Attn: Miss Jane Carver.
 Mass and Procession Information: 10:30am Solemn High Mass in the auditorium with procession following. (Reminder: Whenever we have Mass in the auditorium, the proper respect shown towards the altar when crossing the center is to bow before the consecration and to genuflect after.)  
First Communicants of last year (this year’s 2nd grade) are asked to wear their First Communion outfits and meet the Sisters in the auditorium before Mass.
Eucharistic Crusaders: Please arrive by 10:00am to pick up your scapulars outside and sit together in reserved seating in the auditorium. Return scapulars after the procession.
Requested donations to cover the expenses of the festival: $20/family with children up to 18 years old, $5/individual. 
PROCESSION ROUTE: Leaving campus at main entrance of Our Lady's Circle at approximately 12:00pm and proceeding south on Grand Avenue to Palmer. West on Palmer to 5th Street, with the first Benediction at 5th and Bertrand on Moats' grass lot. North on 5th, then east on Mission back to campus. Return to auditorium via the west parking lot. 
Festival Information: Enjoy the cuisine, music and dancing from countries around the globe! 
Tug of War: Teams of five must now weigh under 900 total pounds! Please sign up in the vestibule or email [email protected] Attn: Miss Jane Carver to register your team.
Vespers at 5:00pm in the Chapel  (N.B. There will not be a rosary recited outside during Vespers, per Fr. Anderson.)
