Band

The SMA Band performs as a marching band at SMA football games and in concert as a stage band. Band students learn to perform as an ensemble and individually.

Students can join the Beginner Band starting in the 5th grade. After a year they move to Advanced Band. We will eventually have an Intermediate Band mostly covering grades 6th - 8th.

The Band includes woodwinds (flute, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, and oboe), brass (trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone euphonium, and tuba), and percussion (orchestral and marching drums).

There is a fee to participate in band that is billed through FACTS.
