Open positions at St. Mary's Academy:

  1. Teachers - Lower School (K-5), Middle School (6-8), High School (Grades 9-12):
    • The Teacher plays a foundational role in the formation of our students.
    • The Teacher delivers the curriculum in accordance with academic department head guidance.
    • Post-Secondary education and teaching experience are ideal, but not required.
  2. Teacher’s Assistants (K-5 & Art):
    • The job of a Teacher’s Assistant (TA) is to support and assist the classroom teacher in daily classroom activities.
    • Experience working with children is preferred.
    • TA’s serve in a dynamic position, at times called upon to act as a substitute teacher for their assigned class, as well as serving in other academic functions.
  3. Substitute Teacher Position:
    • St. Mary’s Academy is looking for substitute teachers with classroom teaching experience.
    • You may be called-in to substitute for several class periods throughout the week with the expectation of progressing through class material according to the resident teacher’s lesson plans.
  4. Substitute Teacher’s Assistant Position:
    • St. Mary’s Academy is looking for substitute teacher’s assistants that may be called-in for full or partial days to assist the resident teacher manage the classroom and monitor students.
    • No prior subject/teaching experience is required.
  5. On-Call Study Hall/Test Monitor:
    • St. Mary’s Academy is looking for on-call study hall/test monitors that may be called-in for class periods throughout the week.
    • Study Hall/Test Monitors are expected to manage a classroom environment conducive to silent studying and testing.
