Friday Night Faculty Outing

Friday night welcomed a bowling get-together for the boys' school teachers, staff, and friends.  About thirty thronged to Gage Bowl in Topeka for some time to sit and visit or to brush up on their follow-through.  Fr. Torzala's sound advice to leave out the thumb, give the ball a spin, and give a little hop while releasing the ball didn't fare so well with some bowlers, as they drove home gutter balls.  Matt Baer, however, got the first strike for the evening, and Christa Gaumer got a turkey.  This was the first extra-curricular diversion specifically for the boys' school, and most hope there will be more to come to build comradery among the staff.
