Chief meteorologist, Matt Miller, of KSNT News in Topeka, gave a very interesting and informative weather presentation to the 8th Grade boys and girls, on Monday January 31st. All the students studied weather in their Earth Science class so, this was an opportune time for his talk. He spoke about severe weather, mainly tornadoes and how to protect yourself against them. The students had a keen interest and numerous questions. Towards the end we all went outside to the KSNT Storm Tracker Vehicle, where he explained how it operates.
Mr. Miller graciously consented to come to St Mary's Academy to give this presentation and it was greatly appreciated by all who saw it.
