Application / Enrollment Timeline
Below is the timeline of deadlines for applications and enrollments for school year 2026-2027. There are separate sections for NEW Academy students and RETURNING Academy students.
New Academy Students
| Feb 1 | New student applications open with fees waived (paid by SMA to FACTS) through Feb. 28 for kindergarten through 12th grade. Parents will be notified by email when an application is approved and then proceed to enrollment. |
| Feb 2 | ACE Scholarships applications open. |
| Mar 1 | The fee waiver period ends, and application fees are now charged (paid by the family to FACTS). The first new student in a family is charged $30 for the application and subsequent students in the family are charged $25 per application. |
| Mar 1 | Financial aid applications open. |
| Mar 15 | Final day for new student applications to be submitted. |
| Apr 15 | Final day for ACE Scholarship applications to be submitted. This includes uploading all documents including the 2025 tax return. |
| Apr 15 | Final day for financial aid applications to be submitted. |
Returning Academy Students
| Feb 1 | Returning student enrollments open with fees waived (paid by SMA to FACTS) through Feb. 28. |
| Feb 2 | ACE Scholarships applications open. |
| Mar 1 | The fee waiver period ends, and returning student enrollment fees are now charged (paid by the family to FACTS). The fee is $15 per re-enrollment student. |
| Mar 1 | Financial aid applications open. |
| Apr 1 | The returning student enrollment fee increases to $30 per re-enrollment student. |
| Apr 15 | Final day for all returning student enrollments to be completed. |
| Apr 15 | Final day for ACE Scholarship applications to be submitted. This includes uploading all documents including the 2025 tax return. |
| Apr 15 | Final day for financial aid applications to be submitted. |
