Candlelight Rosary Procession

On Sunday, October 11, feast of the Maternity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Assumption Chapel held its annual candlelight Rosary Procession. An estimated 2,000 parishioners participated, including the various sodalities from the Academy (the Eucharistic Crusade, the Children of Mary, the Honor Guard and the Knights of the Immaculata, and Acies), taking part in the 12-block procession. At a stop in the downtown Commons of St. Marys, the parish, the city, and the state congressional district were consecrated to Our Lady.
